Hi
8 1st year students among a group of 20 students registered for the statistic course.
5 are randomly selected from the group.
20C5 = 15,504 |nCx =
represents the total ways of selecting a group of 5 among the 20
P(exactly 2 of the selected students are among the 8 1st-year students)
P = 8C2*12C3/20C5 = 28*220/15,504 = 6160/15,504 = .3973
