You are a graduate research assistant working with Dr. Bugg, a renowned zoologist. As part of your Ph. D. general examination, Dr. Bugg asked you to predict the temperature when the chirping rate for a cricket is 1,000 chirps per minute. To accomplish this you collect a �bunch� of crickets and measure their chirping rate at different temperatures. The data collected from your experiment follow:
Chirps in 1 min 882 1,188 1,104 864 1,200 1,032 960
Temperature (Fo) 70 90 85 75 85 80 70

No "equation" per se.
Plot the points and then draw a best fit line/curve (this looks like a line to me.
Then find 1000 chrips and estimate the correct temp for that.
If you are good with a fancy calculator, then use the best fit regression tool there instead of plotting the points yourself
