Question 401398: what is the solution for this
(1+2p+3p^2+4p^3+...............)
plzzz tell how u got it and wat formula u used????

Answer by richard1234(7193)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There is no solution for that. You can evaluate the sum more easily by rearranging the terms:

(1+p+p^2+p^3+...) + (p+p^2+p^3+p^4+ ...) + (p^2+p^3+p^4+...) + ...

= (1+p+p^2+p^3+...)(1+p+p^2+p^3+...) which converges if and only if .
