The probability of an event occurring is 3/8. Find the odds against the event occurring.
Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(A) = 3/8
P'(A) = 1 - 3/8 = 5/8
odds against the event = P'(A)/ P(A)
= 5/8 / (3/8)
= 5/3
