Hi

x is {1,  2, __,  -12}

y is {12,__,  3,   __}

Let k represent the constant that x and y vary inversely by:

that is:  y = x/k  

 12 = 1/k      |Using ordered pair(1,12) to solve for k

  k = 1/12

        when x = 2

 y= 2/12 = 1/6            

        when y = 3

   3 = x/12

     x = 36

         when x = -12

   y =  -12/12 = -1
