Take the set of seven actors that excludes the leading actor. There are 7 times 6 times 5 times 4 times 3 times 2 times 1 = 7! ways to arrange those seven actors. Then there are two possibilities for each of those ways, namely the leading actor comes first or the leading actor comes last.
