If the probability of completing 4 years of college is 19%, what are the odds of completing 4 years of college. Give answer in ratio format, example (1 to 2)

Answer by robertb(5830)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Odds of completing 4 years of college = prob'y of completing 4 years of college/prob'y of NOT completing 4 yrs of college = 0.19/0.81 = 19/81 OR 19 to 81.
Odds AGAINST completing 4 years of college = prob'y of NOT completing 4 yrs of college/ prob'y of completing 4 years of college = 0.81/0.19 = 81/19, OR 81 to 19.
