There are 7P3 = 7!/(7-3)! = 7!/4! = (7*6*5*4!)/4! = 7*6*5 = 210 different ways to assign 3 prizes to seven students and there is only one way that Alicia will win first prize, Pat will win second prize, and David will win thrid prize.
