Question 375178: The problem is:
A particular experiment consists of rolling a fair six-sided die 200 times and counting the number of occurences of three dots showing on the upper face. Determine the probability that three dots will show on the upper face exactly 40 times.
So, x=40, n=200, and p = 1/6
I used the formula
nCk x pk x (1-p)n-k
and i'm getting a screwy answer. Is this the right formula?
