As to a 'tree diagram' to describe all 16 selections possible, might recommend
beginning with the four classics, F,G, T, or M and then branching off from
each of those to choose one of the nonfiction J or B and "then" branching off
from each of the J and B to choose one of the a science fiction W or D.
Classic
1. A Farewell to Arms (F)
2. The Grapes of Wrath (G)
3. Tom Sawyer (T)
4. Moby-Dick (M)

Nonfiction:
1. John Adams(J)
2. Band of Brothers (B)

Science Fiction
1. War of the Worlds (W)
2. Dune (D)

a) 4*2*2=16 points. Each point will have three numbers in it separated by commas. (3,1,2)=Tom Sawer, John Adams, Dune.
