Question 363773: Hello, Can someone tell me if my answer is right.
. Consider the Venn diagram below. The numbers in the regions of the circle indicate the number of items that belong to that region. Can't post the venn gram. The first circle is labeled A with 40 inside circle the overlap is 20 ab circle B is 70.
Here is the questions and my answers:
Determine
• n(A)= 40-20=20
• n(B)= 70-20=50
• P(A)20/50=4/10=2/5
• P(B) 50/20=5:1
• P(A|B)40/70=0.571429
• P(B|A)70/40=1.75
I am sorry my baby is running fever and I am a single mom with no help. Please let me know.
Thank You
Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(A)=60/130=6/13
P(B)=90/130=9/13
P(A|B)=20/90=2/9
P(B|A)=20/60=1/3
.
I'm don't know what n(A) and n(B) mean. If it means numerical value of A and B then the answers are 60 and 90.
