Recall that the z score is z=%28x-mu%29%2F%28sigma%29. The units for both x and mu are in centimeters. So the units for x-mu are in centimeters. Also, the units for sigma are in centimeters. So the units will cancel for %28x-mu%29%2F%28sigma%29


This means that the z-score has no units.
