Question 339156: A jar contains three colored marbles: 10 red, 15 green, and 25 blue. What is the probability of getting a red marble?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(red) = # of red/# total = 10/(10+15+25) = 10/50 = 1/5
So the probability is 1/5 or 0.2 (which is a 20% chance)
