Question 32580: If x/y=4/7 and y/z=14/3.What is the value of [x+y]/z? could you solve this?
Answer by mukhopadhyay(490)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
[x+y]/z = x/z + y/z;
x/z = (x/y)(y/z) = (4/7)(14/3) = 8/3
So, [x+y]/z = x/z + y/z = 8/3 + 14/3 = 22/3
Answer: [x+y]/z = 22/3
