Question 319572: Can anyone help me with this question? If you have a bag of 8 marbles (5 red and 3 white) and you choose one at random, what are the odds in favor of getting a red marble? Any help would be appreciated! I think the odds are 5/8 (since out of 8 total, 5 are red).
