Question 318587: 3 red marbles,4 yellow marbles, and 2 green.. what are the odds in favor of selecting a red marble?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(Red) = # of red marbles / # of marbles total = (3 red)/(3 red + 4 yellow + 2 green) = 3/9 = 1/3 = 0.333

So the probability is 1/3 which is a 33.33% chance
