Question 313001: when 3 coins are tossed,how many times out of 100 would you expect the result to be either 3 heads or 3 tails
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
when 3 coins are tossed,how many times out of 100 would you expect the result to be either 3 heads or 3 tails
------------------
On a single toss of the three the probability of 3 heads is 1/8;
the probability of 3 tails is 1/8
---------------------------------
So the probability of eith 3-heads or 3 tails is 2/8 = 1/4
------------------------------------
On 100 tosses you would expect 3-heads or 3 tails (1/4)*100 = 25 times
