the total number of people who work on th second, third & fourth floors are 200.
20 people get on therfore 120/200=x/20 or x=12 people should get off on the second floor.
correct answer =d:12

Answer by Paul(988)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The total number of people are 300:
Let the number of second floor people be x
Equation:

Cross multiplyL
300x=20(120)
300x=2400
x=8

Hence the people of the second floor would be 8.
