Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The Pill HCI Penylpropanolamine contans in each tablet an over the counter diet
pill medicaion with a normal distribtion mean of 75mg and a standard deviation
of 0.7mg
What is the probabilty that a randomly selected tablet contains:
-at least 76mg of phenylpropanolamin?
z(76) = (76-75)/0.7 = 1.42857
P(x >= 76) = P(z >= 1.42857) = 0.0766
-------------------------------------------
-less than 73mg of phenylpropanolamin?
z(73) = (73-75)/0.7 = -2.8571
P(x <= 73) = P(z <= -2.8571) = 0.0021
-------------------------
