mean life of both tyres is 50000 miles,
two types of tyres prob of exceeding 40000 miles is as follows:
All Weather High Performance Total
Exceeds 40,000 miles 0.70 0.23 0.93
Does not Exceed 0.03 0.04 0.07
Total 0.73 0.27 1.00
also if the company wants to ensure that 95% of tyres exceed 40000 mile what should it set the warrantee on both kinds of tyres?
pls reply imeediately.
it should use normsdist, normsinv and standardize but how to use.
