1.6x -2.8y + 9.8= 0 need x and y intercept
------------
Multiply thru by 10 to get:
---
16x - 28y + 98 = 0
-----
x-intercept:
Let y = 0 and solve for "x":
16x = -98
x = -6.125
-------------------
y-intercept:
Let x = 0 and solve for "y":
-2.8y = -98
y = 35

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.6x-2.8y+9.8=0
-2.8y=-1.6x-9.8
y=-1.6x/-2.8-9.8/-2.8
y=.4x/.7+3.5
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -10 to 5, y from -10 to 10, .4x/.7 +3.5).
