Find the percentage of metastatic carcinoid tumors in the heart that
a. are between 1 cm and 2 cm long.
z(1) = (1-1.8)/0.5 = -0.8/0.5 = -1.6
z(2) = (2-1.8)/0.5 = 0.2/0.5 = 0.4
P(1 < x < 2) = P(-1.6 < z < 0.4) = normalcdf(-1.6,0.4) = 0.6006

b. Exceed 3 cm in length
z(3) = (3-1.8)/0.5 = 1.2/0.5 = 2.4
P(x> 3) = P(2.4 < z < 100) = 0.0082..
