Question 216803: A drawer contains 5 red socks, 10 white socks, and 3 blue socks. Without looking, you draw out a sock and then draw out a second sock without returning the first sock. Find P(red, then blue).
Answer is either A. 5/108 or B. 5/102
I just don't understand this type of probability question. I know that the probability of drawing red the first time is 5/18, and if all the blue socks are still in the drawer the probability of drawing a blue sock the second time would be 3/17. After that, I am stuck.

You are correct.
Then you multiply those two fractions and you
get: 5/102
