Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If P(A)=0.5 and P(B)=0.25 and P(A intersection sign B)= 0.07
Find P(B/A')
----------------
P(B|A') = P(B and A')/P(A')
----------------
One way to do this:
1st: draw a venn diagram with two intersecting circles, A and B.
Label A with 50 and B with 25 and (A intersection B) with 7
---------------
Then there are 50+25-7 = 68 is the number in AUB.
Then 32 is the number in (AUB)'.
---------------
So, P(B and A') = 18/100 and P(A') 50/100
------------
Ans: P(B|A') = 18/50 = 9/25
