1.) A debate team surveyed its members' ages, resulting in the data set : 15, 16, 15, 17, 15, 16, 14, 16, 14, 17, 15, 15, 16, 16, 17. What is the experimental probability that a member chosen at random is younger than 16?

Count the number of ages that are less than 16. That is the numerator of your fraction. Count the number of ages altogether. That is the denominator of your fraction. The whole fraction is your probability.
