You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Two cards are drawn at random form a 52-card deck.Find the probability of each event.
A.Both comes up tails
B.At least one coin comes up heads
c. the coins match
d. the coins dont match
--------------------------------
You say you ae drawing cards. Then you ask questions about coins.
------------------------------------------
I'm going to assume you mean you have tossed two coins:
P(2 tails) = (1/2)(1/2) = 1/4
-----------------------------------
P(2 tails or 2 heads) = P(2 tails) + P(2 heads) = 1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2
----------------------------------
P(coins don't match) = 1 - P(they match) = 1 - 1/2= 1/2
------------------------------------
P(at least one coin comes up heads) = 1 - P(no heads) = 1-(1/2) = 1/2
