3(7)+6(9)+9(9.25)/18=21+54+83.25/18=158.25/18=

since there is 3 employees getting paid 7 then you times 3 and 7 and get 21. then you times 6 and 9.00 and get 54. and then you times 9 and 9.25 and get 83.25
then when you have done that and have all the answers you add the answers together and divide by the number of employees and in this case it is 18. so you add 21, 54, and 83.25 and get 158.25
then you divide 158.25 by 18 and get your answer of 8.79
answer is 8.79
