The probability to pass in 60 examinations is 0.68, and the probability to fail is 0.32. Given, for the 5th examination, there has been 4pass and 1fail. What is the probability to get a pass in the 6th examination? and what is the probability to get a fail in the 6th examination?

The probability of passing each of 60 examinations is 0.68, and the probability of failing is 0.32. After, 5 examinations 4 were passed and 1 failed. What is the probability of passing the 6th examination and what is the probability of failing the 6th examination?
60*.68=40.8 About 41 tests are expected to be passed.
4 are already passed.
40.8-4=36.8 remain to be passed.
Let x be the probability of passing the next test.
55x=36.8
x=36.8/55
=.669
.
1-.669=.331 probability of failing next test.
