Answer by vleith(2983) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
read this --> http://www.purplemath.com/modules/meanmode.htmhttp://www.purplemath.com/modules/meanmode.htm
write the list of numbers from lowest to highest
1.1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.2, 1.2, 1.5, 1.5, 1.6
Mean is the average of the 8 items. So add them all up and divide by 8. I get 1.325
Mode is the value that shows up the most. 1.2 is in there 3 times. The others are there 2 or less. So mode = 1.2
Median is the 'one in the middle". Since there are an even number of items, go halfway in and then pick the values on either side. Halfway in is between 1.2 and 1.2. So average 1.2 with 1.2. The media is 1.2
