does each of the players have an equal chance of winning the games ?

The probability of throwing two heads is (1/2)(1/2)=1/4
The probability of throwing two tails is (1/2)(1/2)=1/4
The probability of throwing a head and a tail is 2(1/2)(1/2)=2/4 = 1/2
