A sample of 40 Pittsburgh employees showed they travel a mean of 380 miles per month, with a standard deviation of 26 miles per month. -------------
Ho: u(Cinn) - u(Pitt) = 0
Ha: u(Cinn) - u(Pitt) is not 0
--------------
I ran a 2-Sample Ttest and got the following results:
t = -1.53187...
p = 0.1302...
df = 67.833...
------------------
Conclusion:
Since the p-value is greater than 5%, fail to reject Ho.
The two means are statistically the same.
