How many marbles are the in total? =
How many are orange?
So what are the odds of picking an orange marble?? 12 out of 30 = =
If Jen use this same set of marbles over and over again, picking one out, checking the colr and then putting it back. Each time she picked a marble, the odds are 4/10 that it would be an orange one.
Use a ratio

There are 8 + 12 + 10 = 30 total marbles, 12 of which are orange. So there are 12 ways that you can pick an orange marble out of 30 possible ways to pick a marble. The probability is therefore . Probability is always the number of successful outcomes divided by the total number of possible outcomes.

So, for x number of trials, you would expect trials to result in an orange marble. For 120 trials, . All you need now is to do the arithmetic.
