Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The probability that a man will be alive in 25 years is 3/5 and that his wife will be alive in 25 years is 2/3.find the probability
1). P(both will be alive) = (3/5)(2/5) = 6/25
2). P(only the man will be alive= (3/5)(1/3)= (1/5)
3). P(only the wife will be alive)=(2/5)(2/3) = 4/15
4). P(atleast one will be alive) = 1-P(both die) = 1-(2/5)(1/3) = 13/15
5). P(neither will be alive) = (2/5)(1/3) = 2/15
