Since this problem is on conditional probability, you may reduce the set of events 
to those 212 applicants that are out of state.


Then the favorable set is 110 of 212 out of state applicants, who visited the college.


Now the answer is obvious: it is  P =  = 0.5189  (rounded as requested).
