The other basic method for solving the problem (without using binomial probability)....

P(man gets audited, wife does not) = (0.2)(0.8) = 0.16
P(wife gets audited, man does not) = (0.2)(0.8) = 0.16

P(only one of them gets audited) = 0.16 + 0.16 = 0.32

ANSWER: 0.32
