Each normal distribution curve is a bell-shaped curve, symmetrical about the mean value score on horizontal axis.
It means that the area under this curve on the left from the mean value
is the same as to the right from the mean value.
Now, 18 mL is 2 mL on the left from the mean value, while 21 mL is 1 mL on the right
from the mean value.
From it, and based on symmetry and common sense, the probability to have 18 ml or more
is greater than the probability to have 21 mL or less.
