Question 1194720: 126 students at a college were asked whether they had completed their required English 101 course, and 95 students said "yes". Find the best point estimate for the proportion of students at the college who have completed their required English 101 course. Round to four decimal places.
I got the answer, .7540 and I know this to be correct, however I lost my notes and cannot seem to remember the set up for the problem. I did use my Ti-84 calculator to find the answer. If you could walk me through this again, that would be very helpful. Thank you!

the point estimate is the 95/126. It is a fancy name for what is all you have, the best guess as to the true proportion, here 95/126=0.7540
