How many committees that consist of a secretary and treasurer can be formed from 12 students?

There are 12 ways to select a person from 12 persons for the position of secretary,


and then there are 11 ways to select a person from 11 remaining persons for the position of treasurer.


In all, it gives 12*11 = 132 different options.    ANSWER
