Question 1178414: Find the following probabilities using the standard normal z-tables.
Give a sketch with the appropriate area shaded in.
(i) P(0 < z < 1.83)
(ii) P(z > −0.48)
(iii) P(−2.25 < z < 0)
(iv) P(1.22 < z)
(v) P(−2.08 < z < 0.63)
(vi) P(z < −0.68)
(vii) P(0.33 < z < 1.5)

Hi
Using a TI calculator 0r similarly a Casio fx-115 ES plus
(i) P(0 < z < 1.83) = normalcdf(0,1.83,0,1) = .4664
(ii) P(z > −0.48) = normalcdf(-.48,9999,0,1) = .6844
(iii) P(−2.25 < z < 0) = normalcdf(-2.5,0,0,1) = .4938
(iv) P(1.22 < z) = normalcdf(-9999,1.22,0,1) = .8888
(v) P(−2.08 < z < 0.63) = normalcdf(-2.08,.63,0,1) = .7169
(vi) P(z < −0.68) = = normalcdf(-9999,-.68,0,1) = .2483
(vii) P(0.33 < z < 1.5) = normalcdf(.33,1.5,0,1) = .3039
