those who attended the CPA review course passed the exam. Among those
who did not attend the course, only 20% passed the exam.
If an individual passes the exam, what is the probability that he attended the
CPA review course?

As to 'passing' the exam:
Question States:
 (.30)(.60) + (.70)(.20) = .18 + .14 = .32 passed the exam

 P(A|B) = P(A and B)/P(B) 
P(took the review | passed) =  P(R and Passed)/P(Passing) = .18/.32 = 9/16
