Question 1162492: 1. Name two ways that you can decrease the width of a confidence interval? Why does doing each make the confidence interval smaller? (Hint: You cannot change the standard deviation on a confidence interval.)
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20066)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. Use a larger sample.
2. Use a smaller confidence level.
3. If using a two-sided confidence interval, change to a one-sided confidence interval. It will be narrower.
