Question 1160142: A card is randomly drawn from a shuffled deck of cards and NOT REPLACED. A second card is drawn from the remaining shuffled cards. What is the approximate probability that both cards are RED?
I've already attempted this assignment twice, and it's not 24.5% or 25%.
Please help! I only have one attempt left.
A. 24.5%
B. 25%
C. 49%
D. 50%

It is 26/52 probability of being red for the first or 1/2
it is 25/51 probability of being red for the second.
You were right with 24.5%, especially with the word "approximate" in the question. Is there anything in the question about the probability the NEXT card drawn being red?
