(A).  P = 12%2F18 = 2%2F3.


(B)   The set of preferable marbles consists of 12 red marbles and 3 blue marbles having odd numbers.

      So, the probability in this case is  P = %2812%2B3%29%2F18 = 15%2F18 = 5%2F6.



(C)  There are only 3 such blue marbles, so the probability in this case is

         P = 3%2F18 = 1%2F6.
