            The problem does not say that the given events are  INDEPENDENT,  and it is problem's formulation  FAULT.

            It  MUST  say it.  In my solution,  I will assume the the events are independent.

            Then


(a)  P = P(Ramon)*P(Simon).



(b)  P = P(Ramon)*(1-P(Simon)) + (1-P(Ramon))*P(Simon).

You complete calculations by substituting the given data.
