Question 1150380: Test the claim about the population mean μ at the level of significance α. Assume the
population is normally distributed. Claim: μ > 22; α = 0.05; σ = 1.2 Sample statistics: x = 22.3, n =
50

z(0.95) right tail test has a critical value of 1.645
z=(x-mean)/sigma/sqrt(n)
=0.3*sqrt(50)/1.2=1.768
this is greater than the critical value so the claim is not rejected and is accepted.
