Let N be the total of students on the University.

Of them, 0.3N students are females and 0.7N students are males.



The total of  females "A" students is  0.2*0.3*N = 0.06N                           (1)

The total of "A" students is  0.2*0.3*N + 0.7*0.7N = (0.06+0.49)*N = 0.55N.        (2)


Thus the answer to the problem's question is the ratio  (1) to (2)
