Find the probability of selecting a class that runs greater than 50.5 minutes.

This probability is the ratio of the lengths of two time intervals.


One time interval is 10 minutes long, from 50.0 minutes to 60.0 minutes.


The other time interval is 9.5 minutes long, from 50.5 minutes to 60.0 minutes.


Therefore, the probability value is  P =  = 0.95.
