HINT.   Since the events  "a"  and  "b"  are mutually exclusive,  they can not occur both simultaneously.


    Therefore,  the answer to  (a)  is    P = 1 - P(A) - P(B) = 1 - 0.14 - 0.56 = 0.3.


    The answer to  (b)  is    P = P(B) = 0.56.
