There are 3 face cards in each suit and 52 cards in a deck
3+3=6
6/52=.11538461538 = 11.538461538%~ 11.54%

"... a spade or a diamond face card" is ambiguous....

(1) The probability that the card is either a spade, or a face card that is a diamond

13 spades; 3 diamond face cards; 52 cards total --> ANSWER (13+3)/52 = 16/52 = 4/13

(2) The probability that the card is a face card that is either a spade or a diamond

3 spade face cards and 3 diamond face cards; 52 cards total --> ANSWER (3+3)/52 = 6/52 = 3/26
