Question 1135552: Two competitors in a cross country bike race were tied for the lead going into the last 4 stages of the race. Mark finished the last four stages in 6 h 23 min,7 h 5 min, 5 h 57 min, and 6 h 2 min, respectively. Luc finished the last four stages in 6 h 24 min, 6 h 59 min, 6 h and 6 h 3 min, respectively. Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
mark took a total of 6h + 23m + 7h + 5m + 5h + 57m + 6h + 2m.
luc took 6h + 24m + 6h + 59m + 6h + 6h + 3m.
total hours and minutes for mark was 24h + 87m
total hours and minutes for luc was 24h + 86m
looks like luc won by 1 minute.
